Fashions change and trends in graphic design are no different! The latest trend in graphics has seen a move away from three dimensional effects in favour of more minimalistic flatter designs with solid fields of colour.
The latest rebrand for VW is a case in point. The new style logo has been simplified and now has a flatter appearance, moving away from three dimensional effects. Audi and Mini have already moved in a similar direction.
This is good news for companies like ours who are responsible for reproducing the designs as they are now far more appropriate for marking methods such as laser engraving, die stamping and screen printing!
